Summer rain.

Summer rain.

A Poem by Fairy Khan

Disguised as clouds,
their wings they flutter,
flying past heaven’s doors;
when the fairies flitter
their rain drenched hair,
the divine drizzle pours.

‘Tis an elixir of love and life,
caress it with your fingers again,
and let it lave all your troubles,
let it wash away your pain.

You shan’t see it as His grace,
only if you are not sane,
let it douse your cold dead heart,
and let only ‘tis warmth remain.

dearest Fairy Kahn... A summer rain does wash away
the blues and heals our broken dreams.. There is always another
way to look at life... when sunshine moments rest between raindrops.
Truly a beautiful poem etched upon my heart. Pat

You're welcome alot, Fairy.
Your word-crafting is strong & vibrant, but what really hits me over the head is how your thinking is so fluid & imaginative & yet connected. Some writers who go off on imaginary tangents tend to lose me by forgetting the overall storyline of their piece. I love that you went all over the place, as far as being mightily imaginative, yet you also keep the continuity of your message all along. I swear I'll never look at summer rain the same way again! There is something wonderfully refreshing about dancing in summer rain Fairy. A truly delightful and uplifting read. I love the word drizzle. It should be used more. You write beautiful poetry. Keep it up.

Welcome poet :)
I once danced in a heavy summer downpour with my children when they were younger. We simply let it soak us in its warm clear grace. This reminded me how soothing summer rain can be. Oh and we are expecting a downpour anytime now, not as nice lol!

Because the circumstances are different and it is not so warm lol!
