Shallow waters.

Shallow waters.

A Poem by Fairy Khan

This abyss,
that is my life;
Wreathing around the cold shroud
of my undead body,
Spiraling into darkness
and coming back again,
To haunt me;
Pulling me back
from the deep dark sea of gloom,
And suffocating me
in a puddle,
Who knew I would drown in shallow waters?

darkness that came from the past to haunt us. I can relate to this.

In life people have drowned in puddles...

In depressions it's that last bit of 'straw' that breaks a person...

Sometimes we get 'lucky' and find a hand willing to lift or our own hand touches the ground (our own rock) and pushes our head above the moment of life we are in. But sometimes ...not.

Absolutely. Thanks for visiting and reading.
sometimes it doesn't take much...and the abyss doesn't have to be that deep to feel that deep.
