Let my thirsty dry lips Touch your soft sweet lips Just to erase the lipstick Which never fits The charm in your lips Because it can never be found Lipstick looking nice as well as your lips
Let my hands Touch your cheeks Just to remove The makeup you dressed Because that makeup layer Prevents me From feeling your softness
Let my fingers Comb your hair To away that cream Which hides Your hair natural stream
Let my chest Touch your chest Maybe I can find my heart that lost With the feelings I missed To feel with you
Keep me between your walls Hide me inside you You are false If you think I can live Without you
You have a real problem with lipstick, don't you? I don't think women necessarily 'hide' behind make-up, we try to enhance, women have been doing this forever. As to the remainder of your poem, I can relate, seeing the true beauty of a lover. That last line was a killer...

moi? au contraire....i am merely telling you how very beautiful you are
a progression of desire leading to complete intimacy. she is even more desirable naturally than when she's all made up. it's very qabbani because he writes of women's sexuality and hidden passions of which he defends in the arab culture. i also like how you address the woman in the second person. it's very familiar that way. great poem, khalid. with all this poetry you write how do you have time to work : )
Beautiful and strong words of emotion in the poem. When we get twisted up. We will never escape the desire to repeat the dance of love and passion. I like the complete poem.
"You are false
If you think I can live
Without you"
Thank you for the excellent poem.

Awwww. this is astounding.. i love this. =) Very passionate and so sweet..
And yeah, i do agree with you too. As a girl, i know plenty of others who use makeup so much.. when they are just pretty the way they are without them. I, myself, don't use it as much.. only if i need to.. or rarely.. even.. lol..
Girls should show their natural beauty more!! =)
