great middle kingdom

Middle kingdom
When a flying bird reaches the highest point,
 it means he will certainly start to back fall down
after the old kingdom have done all those achievements
after building the pyramids, after they ruled Egypt for five centuries
including 3rd to 6th dynasties
their kingdom started to get weak
local pharaohs have ruled
causing Egypt  weakness
took her to era of  darkness
called by Egyptologists
as the first intermediate
which lasted in years for one hundred
from the 7th to the 11th dynasties
but Egypt may get weak
no worries since the heart continues to beat
and while the heart was giving its weakest beat,
one of the trustful powerful sons was getting raised
as if the mom is preparing him, from her power she is giving him
since she knew that one day, to life he will take her back
he will put her on the right track
in Thebes (Luxor), he was getting ready for it
and the one who replied for the call this time was Mentuhotep II
he started to pump the blood back into veins
getting life back to the dying heart
and on land, he started to dig ditches and canals
and because he knows, blood needs valves to control the pump
also there is need for dams, to control the Nile deeds
to control it when it is mad in summer
causing high dangerous floods
to find solution for it when it is mean in winter
causing dangerous droughts
so there is need to store summer water
to use it in winter shortage
so they made the biggest water storage
in the valley of Faiyum
I really cant hide my admiration

of the middle kingdom Pharaohs
Mentuhotep, Amenemhat, and Senusert
Unlike the old kingdom pharaohs,

who sought for personal glory
Pharaohs of middle kingdom 

sought for Egypt's glory
That at their time,

Egypt got the strongest economy
It is said prophet Josef lived in Egypt at this time
And to there moved prophet Jacob and his sons
Running away from starvation around
And for me,

if I am to choose a place and time
To live in
Rather than the time im already living
I wouldn’t find a place similar to egypt
Or an era similar to the middle kingdom time
maybe also because,

i am from fayoum

which was the capital for the middle kingdom

which lasted for four centuries
From 11th to 14 dynasties
i am proud for just thinking

of those great pharaohs

interesting write especially how you described the need for valves in blood and the Nile's deeds. I also enjoyed reading of Jacob and sons ..israelites migration to Egypt.....(and they came to the land of 'Goshen'). wonderful.

full of historical facts and wise rulers and their acts that made egypt what it is today. i like that you showed specifically how egypt was built to benefit its people rather than past rulers who exhibited hubris, and cared nothing for the citizens. a very thorough view of the egypt when it was being built and the wonders of their engineering skills. also shows the importance it had in biblical times. great piece. we get to read about love and politics.
