if you love a bird, let him free

You are my bird, and I really love you

I have no cage, in which I may,

imprison you

I will just let you free, just go

be free

fly away

Because I know,

 if you really love me too,

I am sure you will be,

Back to me

And if you don’t love me,

And you went to any cage where,

You feel,

You can find your happiness there,

Be sure,

That I will be

Very happy for you

More than if I put you

In a cage where you,

Live with me

While your heart is so much away,

From me

This piece is beautiful because it speaks the truth about love and what it should be like. Quite often love seems to get all clingy and attached and afraid to let go, where love becomes a cage when love is something that, as you illustrated here, sets you free. Great illustration through the bird and the owner I love this piece. Good write man!

this was so nice..and i loved the point that you are hitting on..
i think that same idea can go for love too..if you love someone let him go away if he loves you really he will come back if he doesnt love you he will be happy with someone else ....very nice poem
