River Side

happiness of beloved is more important

 

 

 

To the side of the river, she had gone

So fast there it was announced...her presence

To the sweet water she added.. some of her sweetness

To the fresh breeze she sprayed.. some of her fragrance

to everything there, she added the bliss

on the water's and birds sounds,

flowers danced with butterflies.

Rabbits rested on the green grass

 

But here, inside of me, feelings of bitterness

 i have never felt enough of her presence

How can i get used to her absence?

One thing dilutes my hard times,

I always long for her happiness

it becomes necessary when one must let go of the one he loves. she seems to be where she is supposed to be. it's good to put her happiness over another's and take comfort that she brings bliss to wherever she is now. it is however natural to feel some bitterness over her absence. again, most of your poems remind me of nizar quabani. excellent poem.
