people are destroying nature, till when?

 

 

 

To this crazy world, I don’t feel I belong

With all its noise, pollution and crowdedness

Cars, planes, rockets, factories, bombs, weapons

Wars, hatred, cheating, dishonesty and selfishness

Where's love? Where's peace? Where's mutual respect?

Bad singers, loud music, machines' sound

Bad words are always heard

Why  can I no longer  hear the birds sing?

Why is everything artificial? Does nature still exist?

How can I have a nap, without setting my alarm clock?

How can i pass a day, without hearing my mobile ring?

I miss the taste of nature, I miss the stars' brightness

Dirty water, dirty air, dirty land

Dirty morals, dirty talks, dirty deeds

Smoking, drugs, poverty,  homeless kids

Oh, man! You are responsible for all of this

All creatures hate you, don’t you feel it?

Deforestation, pollution, global warmth

Are you going to do more ?what's next?

Hard to stop a wild freight train that won't stop. Men had great desire to destroy all that is beautiful. I don't understand. We need clean water to drink. Fresh air to breath. Trees to reproduce clean air and food. I pray for logic. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem. Many people are trying to change things. Ain't easy to do.

Oh Khalid..Great Write on the irresponsibility of the human race and my voice joins your cry !
I love to see nature crawl out of cracks in cement, I smile, for I see it as a reminder of what is greater and to never give up..even against the ugly side of man.. as E.L. so brilliantly said "In our hands" So True !
