The Cold Evening

The Cold Evening

A Poem by khalid93

In a dark and lonely road I walked;
Hopeless,broken and alone;
The trees were grim and the weather was cold;
And I was staring at the moon;
How bright it is, in this dark world;
Nowhere to go, no place could hold my pain;
So I tried to reach my home;
But I was afraid, hapless and lost;
In this big cruel world;
The cold winds came through;
And the tree leaves began to fall;
At last I reached my home;
And again I entered my sad room;
To sit on that lonely chair;
To write a sad  poem again.
