My angel

A poem that just happened out of nowhere whilst thinking about my angel

When I thought of you today
I did not need to cry
Because I know up there you play
And on Angel wings you fly.

When I saw "the" dress today,
I did not shed a tear,
Because you wear a much prettier one,
One thats more golden each year

When I sang a lullaby,
To your brother Brody
I know you was there listening
I could feel you smiling down on me

When Im reaching my lowest point,
I know I will be caught
You will raise me up again
Teach me that life is too short.

Yes you may not be here in body,
But you are always here in soul,
And on my wedding day you will be there,
Making our family whole.

Shelby Rose I'll always love you
I hold you dearly in my heart
In my dreams I can be a mother to you,
Even though in reality we are apart
