Little Did I Know

Little Did I Know

A Poem by Key The bard
"

first meating with a person.... who knows what could happen

"

I remember like it was yesterday, the day I first saw your face.
I remember your smile so vividly, your beauty and your grace.
But little did I know. I could not comprehend,
that you would touch my life so much by becoming my best friend.

Your hand embraced with mine, the star lit sky I did see
How, although my chest was pounding, I could of dropped to one knee.
I didn't think my heart had room, for my love to grow
There's just no way to love you more, but how little did I know.

It’s a strange little thing, this romantic fling.

The time it’s just you and me and I hope you agree

You bring so much joy to me.

How little did I know, you can play with my hart like the harps string.

The memories remain, yet those days are now long past.
The time has gone so sweet and slow, but at the same time fast.
My love for you is greater now, than it ever was before.
But little do I know right now, how much I'll love you more.

this is so sad. it's all the more intense to us because it could never be. this brings mind the same experience i had and you expressed it like i never could. thank you.

Beautifully penned, and it almost has a sing song quality to it. I am sorry that the inspiration to this poem is gone but your talent is stil evident. Keep writing sir and your talent will only grow.

Damn man. knowing the background i think the last line of the the second stanza (How little did I know, you can play with my hart like the harps string)
is a a strange but clever touch. it flowed well.
