Armageddon Falls

Armageddon Falls

A Poem by kewayne wadley

Should the stars fall from the sky one by one,
Should heavens thunder awaken the cracks of lightening that strike across the sky,
Your eyes would be the most precious gift I've seen,
Welcoming the coming of their smile, how could they speak so loudly,
From the first time I laid awake with my eyes closed, I pretended to know you,
Not knowing the reality that was at state,
Who knew clouds could whisper so,
Angel off the pages of my mind,
Should heavens thunder awaken the cracks of lightening that strike across the sky,
Should the thunder roar louder than the pound of my heart,
Let it not eclipse reason for purpose,
Understanding the argument between God and the prayers that almost go unanswered,
Wanting, not knowing the meaning of need,
Wanting, to feel not knowing depth, age reveals more than time that has simply passed,
Heaven has been too long,
Angel off the page, far to long,
Should the stars fall from the sky one by one,
Should heavens thunder awaken the cracks of lightening that strike across the sky,
Your eyes would be the most precious gift I've seen,
