Stargazing

Stargazing

A Poem by kewayne wadley

In my dreams you seemed so far away as,
The night turned to day in the blink of your eye,
Words became the actions dismissed by the breath you took in front of me,
Laughter's left in the footprints of the stars left behind to gleam,
As we stargazed in the fires left untouched,
So untouched,
Hidden passions that flourished In the crinkles around your nose,
How it ignites a dream within a dream,
Prayers baptized in the tears of your cry,
Eyes that seemed awake in the dream of your stare,
Left paralyzed in a moment,
As eternity became truth,
An unspoken truth that sunk to the bottom of our hearts within the stare of your grasp,
In my dreams you seemed so far away as,
The night turned to day in the caress of your eye
