Rubber StarsA Poem by kewayne wadleyThe stars ran to the moon, An abundance of air grew tight, Pausing, such light had never been seen in such way before, Bringing meaning to its existence, Meaning to sit in stare, Awe of such perfection, Beautifully flawed, As there was no need to seek from windows peak, Enthused were the eyes to see a full halo, Pale, cold as the shivers that kissed the nape of the stars that shone so bright, Embraces kept close by the eclipse shadowed by the suns boil, Fierce, Languishing what fear lyes beneath the wake, Of an ocean of stars that have yet to bloom of the moons grace
