A new generation.

A new generation.

A Poem by kevluvtory
"

Shakespeare said music be the food of love! These days too many are obese on iPods... I am not ashamed to say I am still on a vinyl diet

"

Too many believe the distraction is real
devoid of emotion, told how to feel
A nuisance of sorts is the living of life,
so many resort to the pain of the knife.

Detached and uncertain no life goals in place
except for the ones screamed each side of the face
Hate them, despise them, give me your time,
Spat out with venom in no particular rhyme.

Rap songs and crap songs mainly the same
written by self prophet to grant himself fame
no sense of reality giving it large
most of the followers sit in triage.

Love dying each season drowned in the mud
while those left uncertain take their own blood
Numb and detached no hope for the day
some even un-knowing if straight or gay.

Told what to think where to go what to buy
All wrapped in sweet jingles dongles in sky
consumer led focus with ring tight in nose
willing to follow wherever it goes.
