All hallows E'enA Poem by kevluvtoryHallow e'en is closing once again
Whilst all around the crackling embers whisper of warming heart
the wicker man in clothes of grey makes ready to depart, along the way a tearful subject praying to Beelzebub misses the hum of the distant drum as she creeps round as a grub. This night all hallows e'en be here and none shall walk unfeathered Whilst demons driven by blood and gore allowed to go un-tethered Away the distant howl of wolves now frightened beyond doubt hells gates are open and welcoming and most are coming out. The pumpkin headed warrior meanwhile gathers up his crew A slothful group of misfits thieves and a lipless pig or two. Blessings laid before them as the candles burning bright designed to tap all evil thoughts which abound throughout the night. Heed the warning shouted from the rooftops one and all avoid all rotting compost yet stay clear of shadowed wall come morning shall thee awake, breath cold and sheets sweat damp Praise the lord for another escape from the death in the stagnant swamp. © 2012 kevluvtoryAuthor's Note
