An April Afternoon

An April Afternoon

A Poem by Reflexion

Some things, when lost, are impossible

To retrieve

You can clear your head, look

But the picture is never the same

You can see through the artifice and

It’s magic

Shrugging off its spell without

Effort

Maybe some things are better when

They are lost

The initial fear of having to replace them

Slowly dissolves into

The cool breeze of an April afternoon
