The Storm

The Storm

A Poem by kevincarib3

Dark Scudding drifts bribed the rain
Twittering birds chattered on my window pain
Thunder shattered glasses filled with bravery
Fear slowly moved like abolishment of slavery

The clouds plaited a lightning love knot into the sky
Seduced the heavens as the leaves began to fly
The wind danced amidst the gusty trees
As many genuflected under roof concealed lids
