Attack of Clones

This is the 8th chapter of my novel excluding the history.

After the destruction of the robotic armies of The Great Devil and the UWADC members were restored to their MSAS, the big fight resumed with Lina and Dr. Kon-Le. And the members of UWADC took some steps to avoid this kind of injustice. Now, as the big fight resumed, Dr. Kon-Le again started his hand drilling as his sword was taken away by the UWADC members, but it was enough for Lina to loose her a little less than half of her energy. But she had taken her inspiration from Mike and she too started blocking the attacks launched by Dr. Kon-Le. He kept looking forward to KO Lina but she cleverly escaped all his attacks. And then Lina took on the style of Baritsu and defeated Dr. Kon-Le in both the rounds. The Great Devil was furious about this and as the Defenders were celebrating their victory, The Great Devil could not long hold the act, so he stood up and blew his fire all over the wardome, but no fire came out. Instead, a thick smoke came out blocking everybody’s vision. When the smoke cleared, it was found that Lina had disappeared from the wardome along with the Destroyers. Then at once the Defenders deduced that they must have gone in their mother ship and they were right. They saw the mother ship of the Destroyers leaving the wardome. As the Judges were thinking of what to do, the Kevin stood up and-
Kevin- Honorary Judge and all the UWADC members! I knew that the Destroyers cannot fight fairly and take their defeat as we do. So I ask your most courteous permission that Chan, Henry and I will go and rescue Lina from the clutches of the Destroyers.
        After a discussion between all the members of the UWADC, they gave Kevin permission to try and rescue Lina. They also gave them their MSAS as the Destroyers had destroyed their Spacelab.
        So Kevin, Chan and Henry started their mission towards the mother ship of The Great Devil. In their way, they were interfered by various defending machines of the mother ship, but they overcame them with great skill. But as they entered the space ship, the three Defenders became unconscious because the Destroyers released an unconscious gas.
        Now we will explain to our readers about what happened in the wardome. The Great Devil had mixed a solution to turn his fire to smoke in him. So as the smoke obscured everybody’s vision, The Great Devil had given instructions to his team beforehand, and everyone went to their mother ship and The Devil picked up Lina, who was as confused as anybody and took off. Now, The Great Devil knew that the Defenders would come to rescue Lina. So when the Defenders were unconscious, he took a DNA from everyone’s body and made a clone of each of them. The same fate was of Lina.
        When the Defenders regained their senses, they found themselves lying on a he flat plain. They were talking and analyzing what could have happened when they were unconscious, when a very big shooting star like thing was falling towards them from the ceiling. But halfway to the ground, it exploded in four pieces and fell in front of each defender. Then, a huge explosion took place and the clones of the four Defenders were standing there, ready to fight. The Defenders were very astonished as how The Great Devil could prepare their clones. But they had no time to think, as each of their clones attacked them. So each Defender got busy fighting themselves. But the two Henry’s were no longer visible as they were fighting with their speed of light and only two streaks of light were visible. Then Kevin had an idea that they would never win fighting themselves. So they should swap themselves and fight.
        Accordingly to Kevin’s plan, the Defenders started fighting. Lina started fighting clone Chan, Chan fought with clone Lina and Kevin and Henry swapped themselves. Then Chan shouted – ‘play to your strengths!’
        So, Lina started fighting with the style of Baritsu, Chan fought with his Kung-fu techniques and Henry stayed to his speed of light. But Kevin was having particularly a bad time of it. Try as he might, he couldn’t stop Henry to take his great speed. So he thought that he would leap in and out of Henry’s path and hit him. So, as the clone Henry again took his great speed, Kevin leapt out of his way and caught the clone with surprise. As a result of the impact, Henry was thrown way back, right to the end of the pain where there was a wall and some machines. The clone Henry fell right on one of those machines and exploded. But the clone Henry was not aware of the smoke coming out of the smoke coming out of the machine and took his great speed. The clone Henry hit Kevin with his full force knocked out Kevin, who did not see the speeding Henry as he was distracted by the machine. By the time the other Defenders were finishing the other clones, the mother ship of the Destroyers began to shake violently and it seemed that the mother ship would destroy itself. Then,
Chan- I think that the mother ship will destroy itself.
Lina- Oh! What will we do now? That clone of Henry has knocked out Kevin and we cannot reach our MSAS in one minute.
Chan- Not if Henry doesn’t want it to happen. Henry, now everything is up to you. If you want to repay Kevin’s debt of saving your life, you can do something now.
Henry- (after thinking for a moment) Yes, I think that I can do so. But don’t ask questions if my actions seem a bit weird to you. I’m only trying to save our lives.
        Then Henry stood there with his eyes closed and appeared that he was concentrating. Then, a sort of heavenly light appeared to come out of his body. He opened his eyes when only 30 seconds were left. Then he took the position of a runner and shouted, ‘Mega speed’. Immediately, he became a flash of light and picked up Kevin, Chan and Lina all at once and broke the walls and barriers that were blocking his progress. He reached his MSAS and launched just as the mother ship blasted. He went straight to SERC, gave Kevin to the doctors there and fell there unconscious.
        After an hour and a half, when Henry regained his consciousness, he found that he was in bed and Defenders whom he had rescued from the mother ship of the Destroyers, wee standing by his bed but except Kevin. ‘Kevin! Where is Kevin? Is he safe?’ and he started shouting and started to enquire more about Kevin. Chan and Lina managed to calm him down and tell him that Kevin was indeed safe and in treatment and would be up and about in no time. Then,
Lina- So, there is no harm done. But I didn’t understand one thing. How come you carried all three of us and managed to run as fast as you always do? Please explain what you did.
Henry- (finally sure that Kevin was fine, relaxed) I thought that there was no chance of escaping until I put my whole strength. So I concentrated and gathered all my strength that was left in my body. You must have seen some sort of sign of it outside my body. Anyway, I gathered all strength I could muster, picked up you three guys and ran for our MSAS. But when I was halfway to SERC, I found that my strength was leaving me. But I had the determination that I have to save you guys. And so I managed to reach SERC, but I cannot remember what happened until I found myself here.
        Meanwhile, it so happened that as there was no fighting in the wardome and most of the Tekkenders were in the SERC, the members of UWADC were also in the SERC that was attached to the wardome by a huge Electro Magnet. So, they did not see that the Destroyers had arrived in the wardome and were planning to,
The Great Devil- As there is no chance that we would win by fighting here, we should destroy it.
The Devil- But what will become of the Destroyers in the SERC? Won’t they come with us?
The Great Devil- To gain something, we also have to loose something. I too do not want to leave them to death, but we have to.
Dr. Barron- But how and where will we go?
The Devil- We have a secret shuttle hidden in here. We’ll go in that.
Dr. Barron- But where we will go? We’re too far from earth to fly there with the sole help of our shuttle.
The Great Devil- (pointing out in the space) We’ll go there.
        They saw that there was a still meteorite just outside the wardome.
True- The Devil I had captured this meteorite when these rodents destroyed our other meteorite. I knew that it would be useful sometime. Though it is a bit unstable, but I had put an atmosphere there with the help of Zordan and The Devil. So when we’ll land on it, t will start moving due to our landing and start to move towards Venus. And when it will be closest to earth, we will leave for earth in our shuttle and capture earth.
        So the Destroyers started for the meteorite and reached there in a short time. Then, after the meteorite started moving,
The Great Devil- Goodbye, my friends, enemies and UWADC members, so long!
        Saying this, he pressed a button. Immediately, the whole wardome blasted.
The Great Devil- Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! The earth is now ours!
        But The Great Devil had made a terrible mistake. He had set the bomb in the northern zone of the wardome while the SERC was at the extreme south zone of the wardome. The explosion resulted the failure of the Electro Magnet that was holding the SERC in its place, and due to the explosion, SERC started moving towards the meteorite. The Great Devil had already mentioned the meteorite was unstable. So when he saw that the ERC was going to land on the meteorite, he was filled with fear and rage. This meteorite was going to crash in Venus and The Devil’s plan was that when it would be closest to earth, they will escape from it in their shuttle. But as the SERC landed on the meteorite, it vibrated very violently and its orbit changed towards the earth.
