Nature's Groan

Nature's Groan

A Poem by Tabitha Dings

The earth is damned

No one is good

Evil reigns high and mercy is lost

Destruction begets destruction

No peace for humanity.

The sky growls it's anger

It's sorrow hails down upon the ground

Those in it's wake suffer greatly.

Only few escape the destruction

Powerful thrusts of wind

Violent waves

Man's edifices, crumble

God's power is shown.

But what of the innocent?

Gone with the wicked.

No prejudice in nature's groan of pain.

Read it again, more sense the 2nd time. Got a better idea of your thoughts and visions portrayed herein, nice work.

Ahh, Tab, dark and moody, in need of uplifting, like your spirits. I liked the analogy of the storm in its fury, raining trouble on man.

About
I'm normally a rather depressed creature, but I find solace in my son and my writing. Though God has been there through much of my pain, I feel that he gave me my writing for further comfort. I do hop.. more..
