Midnight Hopes

I didn't realize that everything would be alright.

Lost in the dark, hard cold

Everything seems bittersweet

It never has a happy ending

The night skies fall

Little hopes are leaving you

Vanilla twilight stars fade

Sleeping with your heart on your sleeve,

Everything will be alright 

In the morning light
