to this day I still find it hard
to love me for me
thanks to you

now I can proudly say I am over you
you made me hate myself
and it’s a good thing we’re through
cause I wouldn’t waste a second on you.

I love the ending of the poem, I was not expecting that. This was well written. This, I think, is what someone goes through.
