Urban Scenescape (2008)A Poem by Kerouac's MistressSweat mixed with heavy kohl, Smeared along railtrain windows. Grease and blood, muck Slinked in to the corners there... See?
Blinking white light makes Eyes heavy and thick with Desperation. Jolted back and forth, bounced. The ear-splitting noise of metal against Metal, shakes and rattles tuneless, sure... Hear?
Screaming in at the last station, she Lurches to abrupt halt, doors expel And vomit chaos in to the tunnels. Arrows dictate with heavy hands, here And there. This way, or that.
