Stillness

Stillness

A Poem by Jess K

Unwinding as I'm filling the bath.

Esence and enchanting aroma filling my mind.

That sweetness unravals in the air.

Relax the tension with out a mention.

Words drift away like sorrows, I pray.

The water's sympathizing melody.

While I close my eyes to utterly subdue.

Stillness, soothing whispers of my mind, stillness.

Bubbles popping, reminiscing of the day gone by,

As I let out a sigh. sinking in the water, all around.

It pulls me in with sweet embrace.

Another day swept away with only memory's trace.

Stillness all around. Stillness.

I really like this poem. As I reading it, I felt like I was in the poem. This poem appeals to the visual senses. It was almost like reading a book. Good job :)
