spider web forest

spider web forest

A Poem by Keoni

i wander the trail in my back yard,

listening hard,

shes playing my song,

with two less strings....

ukulele....

she lures me her way....

the spiders know this as i am quickly ambushed,

the crab spiders recently dropped from above,

to eat thier way thru the bore beatle....

this is true.....

but i still pursue,

her voice is faint,

i am no saint,

so i spy......

as i pick and strum....

its funny you know,

i retreat, as i slow...

but she knows i am here,

i remember the times i have heard this before....

is she a phantom?

is she a dream?

is she real?

im lost in the woods i guess,

im alone, its not scary though,

i was born in the dirt, i am one of them....

monsters ya know....

i sing so softly of the way she stirs me...

she knows.....

on and on,

and off i go.......

back through the spider webs once again spun....

like me,

im all spun......

spun....

It's like a dream that isn't happy or scary, but more mysterious than anything. Can't say that I understood completely your intent, but I got my own meanings from it and really enjoyed this. Like I said, very dreamy.

One comment: "to eat thier way thru the bore beatle...." This should be spelled beetle, if you mean the bug. Unless you're talking about the car...or the band. If not, it's beetle.
