I don't belong

I don't belong

A Poem by ♪The Girl Next Door♪
"

It seems like everywhere I go, everything I do, it's always the same issue popping up. This be it.

"

I don't belong.

I don't belong where I am,

with the people I hang out with

They're all happy.

There souls alined

in a sacred web

that all lovers carry.

My web. Burnt. Buried.

It doesn't belong.

I don't belong.

My friends, I don't belong.

You all seemd to click.

You fit together like a deck of cards.

I'm just the joker.

No one really needs me.

No one even knows why I'm there.

Jokers don't belong.

I don't belong.

My friends. My web.

They don't belong. I don't belong.

If anyone cares, that's why I'm gone.

Been there. But I couldn't really tell you how to get out of that feeling, it just passes with time. And it eventually returns, at least in my case, so it's going into circles. But try talking to your best friend, sometimes it helps a bit!
And as far as the poem is concerned, it's very good, filled with strong emotions. Reminds me of Linkin Park's song Somewhere I Belong xD
I'm glad your writer's block is broken!
