To Small

To Small

A Poem by ♪The Girl Next Door♪
"

Really, just another sad poem. I wrote it when I was feeling depressed. Kinda happens a lot...

"

Is anybody out there?

Can you hear me?

I am sad. I am lonely.

And I fear I will always be this way.

Will you answer when I'm calling

or am I just to small in

 your life to be bothered?

I geuss I'm not worht giving effort for

because no one seems to try.

It doesn"t make sense because

I always listen to other's and all their problems...

don't I?

Maybe that's why I'm so alone.

Because all these problems,

all these frets are digging

deep in my soul and they just won"t leave.

So I ask you: Do you even care?

This is an old poem I wrote. I do a series of these weird, non-rhyming peices, and usually I just text them to my closest friends. it's a better way of expressing how I feel instead of try to explian everything.

You say it graphically with your
small letters spelling too small.
This is a sad and melancholly poem,
with pathos and tears.
Very well written, and you have
gotten past your fears.

When in life we take the burdens of others onto our shoulders. We do this out of kindness...they often fail to see it as the gift that it is. Yet, they always seem to forget about the burdens is places on those who listen. The the listener must make a choice at some point. Stay anchored down by the issues of those speaking, or let their issue sort themselves out, and take a walk to gain back the much needed energy of life. "I listened and I listened, but I did not live, till i began listening to myself."

On a side note, I wish my friends would text their thoughts to me in poetry! I might understand them better! lol

Great Ink!

p.s. watch your typos. :)

A great piece. I can relate to this A LOT. It's like you kinda put my thoughts into your poem XD As much as we don't like our depression, it is actually very good for inspiration. And I love the way you decreased the font size for the words "too small"!
