A short poem

Author's Note

Remember all those times
Leaning against trees
Ignoring the birds and bees
Now I'm telling it out in rhymes.

Remember when you sang for me
I joined in at the end
what a perfect blend
your voice rings in my head, you see.

Remember those moments, and that one remark
"You'd be so cute together!"
That may stick with me forever
But for you, its a walk in the park.

So I'll curl up all cold to sleep the night away
But my thoughts and feelings will not cease to play.
