Anthology for a Friend: Painful

Anthology for a Friend: Painful

A Poem by Kenzie Morg
"

I'm creating an anthology of poems, and hopefully artwork, for my best friend's birthday. Some of these poems are questionable and first drafts. Probably all Free Verse style.

"
Death would be less painful
Than to see you go
To drift apart slowly
To have you remove all of your
care for me

I love you so painfully much
That at the mention of another
My heart aches
My soul becomes weak for you
Yet all I ever wanted
Was for you to be happy

Breathlessly and hopelessly
The anxiety stirs
To hear you rank me number two
