Inviticus

Inviticus

A Poem by K.M

It was dark in that big room...
And I could feel the tension in your hand...
As it sat next to mine
Waiting to be held
You wanted our hands to weld together
Like metal
But the truth is...
Holding my hand...
Is like holding a bouquet of stinging nettles
In the end...
It is going to hurt
