Sonnet 7

Sonnet 7

A Poem by K.M

Only a year ago we weren't talking
And now I'm sleeping with your sweaters
Awkward movements, shallow minds, slow walking
Sophomore year isn't worthy for letters

All those nights praying were worth the wait
You never were one of my hearts mistakes
Broken tears, lost hope, you almost came to late
Thank God you broke down walls and pulled out the stake

I liked the positive ending.
"Broken tears, lost hope, you almost came to late
Thank God you broke down walls and pulled out the stake"
Good to learn repair and have a happy ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

There is only room now for that one person
he is the only one who can fix this
when the heart falls apart

only one can undo this mess

i know exactly what you feel
