Houses

Houses

A Poem by K.M

I saw your house today
It was dark outside
The two lights in front emitted light
Like two miniature lighthouses
Trying to lead me home
But it was a mistake
Because your two arms were my home...
But they apparently were just up for "rent"
I hope shes better
I hope she pays the bills
Are you happy you left me?
or are you happy that my heart is killed?

A sad story and journey in the poem.
"Are you happy you left me?
or are you happy that my heart is killed?"
I like poetry that end with question. This poem did. I believe all of us want to know. Were we a good memory or not. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
