Dearly Beloved, to her whom this letter concerns

This is a letter to and for you my love, and this is a letter about love. So therefore, this letter is about you and to you Cynthia. You are its subject; and Ms. Cynthia you are its “indirect object“, in other words, you are the recipient of the object given - its - love; and the love it speaks … well, that is my love. It is precious, for it is god-given me. And I give it again, giving all my love to you. My sacred and most cherished gift of God, I do Cynthia King, join unto thee. A sanctified, holy, matrimonial love that is what is written of here. And these words, yet inadequate, I do here now pen that forevermore they declare to you, before God Most High, my solemnest expression of that which be inexpressible by the human mind and voice, or my lone feelings. This letter is love for your eyes to see, for your mind to comprehend, for your heart to feel, and for your hands to hold; it is for your soul to keep in a sacred place that you may care for it and keep it safe: It is my written soul that I give to you. I would that your soul join with my soul in the Holy Spirit: God is Love. It is in this spirit, my fullest capacity, that I would give you love. Let this letter, my soul and my spirit too, be that which fills all your senses and let them be forever both human and eternal evidence of my undying love for you. For that is what Kenneth, my mind, my heart, and my very soul, would be to you - love, and, all your love we would receive from you, my beloved, the full measure of your love; that our love is being the successful consummation of a godly, holy, sanctified love by the giving of and the taking in of love.

I confess to you, Cynthia, that I am in love with you. Time could say it’s too soon and my life would say it’s too late, but on this very Valentine’s Day … I, Kenneth Williams, do proclaim my eternal love to you.
