scienceA Poem by kenwillpmaking senseScience
The most dangerous sciences have always been philosophy and physics; these sciences are as old as our bodies, but as our bodies are incomplete without the spirit of truth these without guidance from the Holy Spirit are vain sciences, if you do not believe this look around you; with these we humans destroyed ourselves and we invent evil, evil greater than ourselves, even as we lift ourselves up to be gods; we become the iniquity that destroyes truth and justice meant for us and the world we live in; the world reflects the vanity we - not God - have willed for it. Thomas Merton in his book "no man is an island" wrote - to live in selfishness is to sit on the doorsteps of hell(paraphrased). Oh Yes, God sent His son at the perfect time of His own plan, for He knows the fate men will bring upon himself as he wills and acts alone according to his whims and fancies. These spiritually available truths for our mind, our heart, our god-given will to have meaning and purpose, we have utterly and hopelessly perverted. They are today as an uncontrollable conflagration and we are to blame; we feed and fan the flames that we, obliviously, are engulfed in. We cannot see or feel the funeral pyre's flames consuming love, for just like the dead body that lays on the pyre is without life, in the realm of Life, so are we. The arts of philosophy and physics: the chosen seek a sign and those not sought seek wisdom - and none shall be given.
I have found that there are people in my life that love my being more than I love my being. I bring more joy to their day-just because I am, than I give to myself deliberately...
God's Love is the most phenomenal thing of all existence...surpassing both knowledge and understanding, outweighing both obedience and sacrifice together, unsearchable and unimaginable is His wisdom, ...having no fountain. no beginning and no end, consuming. © 2009 kenwillp |
