2Pe 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Heb 6:13
For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, ...
Heb 6:17
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
Eph 2:13
"But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ."
God has not changed His beginning and very first counsel and His oath made to Abraham. He has made it however for our weakened human sake more clearly precise "--Grace," "unmerited favor."
Jesus Christ is and always was and always will be God's counsel, then as in the beginning, now as of inevitability, and forevermore as of immutable, God's very "Word" to us is His Divine and Holy Son, the "Begotten Son," the "Son of man," "Jesus-" God's Word incarnated.to "human life."
The promise to Abraham and his seed, even also to us of belief and faith, and a child-like, indeed, a faltering obedience in ignorance. in charity, yea to all who come to Him the promise is verily one:
Our high-holy and exceeding great salvation which is according to the eternal Word of God. And we are blessed who receive so precious God's Holy Spirit of promise.
