sight for the blindA Poem by kenwillpSometimes we cannot see a thing until it moves, is moved, or because it has been moved; sometimes we see it not, because we ourselves will not move; nor will we be moved, for we wish not to be moved; that is, unless or until we ought to, have to, or best and better be moved, either with or without our permission or even our awareness or acknowledgment. We cannot, do not, and, or, will not see the thing good or bad for us, that is right or wrong in us, until it is moved. For our sake? Despite our oblivion? In lieu of our apathy and lethargy? The thing unseen is thus so until it moves, is moved, or has been moved; being and moving into and out of the revealing light and the blinding dark: Thus is the providence of God and the blessing of divine revelation to us and for us, which indeed and in fact, grants us and has given us reflections of eternal light from and for sight of our past, bright light for vision in our present, brighter and brightest light for perception and recognition into and about the future. © 2015 kenwillp |
