When A Grown Man Cries

This poem was written a month after my dad passed away. I'm the youngest in my family and it hurt me more I felt then the others. So this is what came out hope you all enjoy.

When a little girl cries they ask what's  wrong? 

When a women cries they ask what's going on?  

When a grown man cries they just look at you wrong. 

When a little girl cries they say awe how can I help?

When a women cries they ask how she felt?

When a grown man cries there's nothing left.

When a little girl cries they say Oh how cute.

When a women cries they take care of her too.

When a grown man cries there's nothing he can do.

When a little girl cries your heart aches a little.

When a women cries people look befuddled.

When a grown man cries there's no one to cuddle.

When a little girl cries help is sought fast.

When a women cries help comes in a rash.

When a grown man cries help seems to crash.

When a little girl cries they ask are you ok dear?

When a women cries they ask do you want me to stay here?

When a grown man cries no one is near.

All this is to point out a common trait in humans.

When a female child or other cries they will be consoled.

They will be looked up on as the weaker species.

There's nothing wrong with that. 

However, Man cry and get hurt too.

We are seen as the stronger species.

That doesn't mean we don't get hurt or have feelings like other humans.

Trust me when I say any day a man cries, it's one of the saddest days you ever seen.

More so then when a women cries.

The reason being is because there's no pity for a man's tears.

social expectations do not take into account that men too have emotions or at least demand that they are not shown publically. A strong man is not afraid to show his grief.
