DisconnectA Poem by Kenny Nis this what happens when we are absorbed by technology? Or perhaps it's the irony of losing our minds and dying within ourselves. Who knows?
Cold and alone I sit, like a single stone in a frosty field.
I stare at this ceiling and feel just as flat. My thoughts have ended and my emotions are none. This is it, this must be death. But no, still I breathe and conscious I stay. This is much worse than death, this is me ceasing to exist. I've given up, I've completely sold out; I have been disconnected. © 2015 Kenny NFeatured Review
