When In Roam

When In Roam

A Poem by Kenny N
"

This was a piece inspired by the sandy shores of the North Sea on the coasts of northern England.

"

The brisk and salty winds brush across my face

As my ears detect the waves in a fervent, tumbling race.

Feel the sand beneath my feet, squishing and squashing

I am walking toward the coastal rocks who get an ice-cold washing.

The sun beats down with a brilliant, gleaming glare

Letting my eyes wander out, I just pause and stare.

I pluck the shells up, up and away, out of their sandy homes

Into my pocket is where they go, for security as I roam.

This is my home, for today and for now

But I'll return again, some way and somehow.

Seemed, Shores play quite vital role to have to inspired with such magnificent words. Sounds interesting. Kinda like the way you bleed with words. Rhythmically fascinating write. You capture many real nice things of your very life in words very well.
