![]() When In RoamA Poem by Kenny N![]() This was a piece inspired by the sandy shores of the North Sea on the coasts of northern England.![]() The brisk and salty winds brush across my face As my ears detect the waves in a fervent, tumbling race. Feel the sand beneath my feet, squishing and squashing I am walking toward the coastal rocks who get an ice-cold washing. The sun beats down with a brilliant, gleaming glare Letting my eyes wander out, I just pause and stare. I pluck the shells up, up and away, out of their sandy homes Into my pocket is where they go, for security as I roam. This is my home, for today and for now But I'll return again, some way and somehow. © 2014 Kenny NReviews
