Something I should have said awhile ago

A Poem by Kendall Edison

Your Black heart
controlled me, You conjured
A shimmering mist in front of my eyes
To block me from reality
The things you did the things you say
Your words winded around my body and
Wrapped around every curve
And squeezed until
There was no life left
Until Numbness
And the only remedy would be a
Sweet loving word from you
Those were like silver and gold
Cautious to come out of you lips
And quick to desert the area
You made me forget how to feel
You broke down my walls
and you started building them up
your way, you became "the Architect"
Designing me with your blueprints
Your pencil erasing bits and pieces of me
you did not like replacing them with the
Perfect straight lines of your ruler
But now I realize I have to build myself
I need you to step away from the drawing board
And be content with MY end result

Nice piece, however it is marred by mispellings and typos "conjoured" should be "conjured" "winded" should be "wound" typo"vroke should be broke myslef, myself, youl lips, your lips. Check the captilization of first words, you is not in caps as are other first words.

I like what you have written here. I know exactly how it feels to have someone try to make you into the man they want you to be, when its not thier job.
