Telepathy of soulsA Poem by Kena Dawn AugustineClear your mind and let
her mental telepathy take over. So many memories float
above their heads; Can they resurrect them
from the dead? The transfer of energy
they shared Beyond smooth skin which
merged into A union of porcelain
nights, Window panes rattled with
strong winds. Husssssssssssssssh She can
still hear the bitter wind Softly rattle the
windowpane. The sheets on her bed are
unmade, and they are cold. But clear your mind and
let her mental telepathy take over. The candlelight flickers
in a dance of remembrance. The clock on the wall
ticks with an uncertainty When she will ever find
your lips Although they are etched
in her mind; With the taste of
persimmon sweetness still lingering… This instinctual
connection pours over your Mind, although your
breath has been forsaken. Do not think thoughts of
bustling city streets Think of her red satin
sheets. Do not think of what
could be, Just think of a calming
sea. That flows through her
very being. Mental telepathy is the
only way two hearts Can still communicate, Even when one is gone…. She places a delicate red
rose on the gravestone Her eyes close tightly as
cold drops of rain Splash against her face,
trickling down her Body, following the
ground. When she looks down she
sees the red had Been washed away, leaving
the plain white Rose. She was the rose. He was the rain. He washed away her
beauty, but she Wanted it that way. To be consumed, Give away her sustenance. For now she is a white
canvas, Void of purpose. But when she goes home
she takes a dip into Mental telepathy, Where two souls could be
entertwined, And aligned, and the
darkness fades away…. © 2010 Kena Dawn AugustineAuthor's Note
