Ice QueenA Poem by ken burke
The snow gently falls to the ground causing a white paradise to form all around
the gentle flakes stack up on the window sill causing the the room to get a slow chill
the flames burst from the burning logs protecting us from the vengeful fog
its coming to swallow us and keep us in its dreary prison but it is stopped by this fiery enclosure that has arisen
it bangs and tries to bust through our cage's walls trying to get the one and only angel from heaven she falls
I look at you and see all the love that we have between, I realize its not me this cold storm is after its my ice queen
