Tell Me Tell Me

Tell Me Tell Me

A Poem by ken burke
"

just a brief poem i wrote when i was in a bad place

"

No! Tell me, tell me it isn't true.
No! Tell me,  tell me that I won't lose you.

I've loved you ever since the day we have met.
I will love you until the burning sun doesn't set.

This world is cruel, this world is dark.
We belong together, like on Noah's Ark.

Why must you leave, why must you go.
Please, please say it isn't so.

Ill beg, I'll plead, ill get down on my knees.
Ill kiss you, I'll hug you, ill follow you across the seas

This world is nothing without you in my life
This world is nothing if I'm never able to call you my wife.

Tell me, tell me it's not real.
Tell me, tell me love is what you feel.
