ode to a momentA Poem by world war jessica <3another actc assignment... not my favorite but i dont think it's bad.
It's a moonlit summer night at the edge of the sea, fleeting with the push of the tide, bringing beauty and leaving salt.
It's the petals on a daisy; there for a while and beautiful, then picked by the hands of a young girl and scattered.
It's love for another; passionate & strong, proud and intense, but forgotten over time.
It's dewdrops on a windowpane, glittering in the sunlight, disappearing into air.
It's an echo in a valley, thundering across the land, and fading on the wind.
It's life It's beautiful And it's short © 2008 world war jessica <3Author's Note
