Walls

Walls

A Poem by Kacie Delane Davis

So many walls built to try and keep from getting hurt

Then someone comes around and they are so nice and sweet

They even open the heart

The gain trust and a path for them to get pass the walls is made

Only for them to destroy the delicate contents inside

As the contents go up in flames

They sit on the side lines seeming to enjoy the pain they've caused
