You there, are such a cutie

But great when there's more than two

Me being blessed with the presence of you

I haven't had the courage to get lost in those beautiful eyes

One from those beautiful lips of course.

As I hope to taste a little of your sweet, right from the source

Not just as a snack, but as the main course

 

So long i've wanted to know how those lips would taste

But we never got the time to set the time nor the place

So long i've wanted to feel those lips on mine

To enjoy them as I would a slice of pine

So long i've wanted to be that close to your face

Maybe, even, with my hands on your waist

But never could've stopped myself from shaking when we both were in the same place

 

Surrender those lips to me

And I shall surrender me

Let me kiss yours as you kiss mine,

Let our strings intertwine

And let our hearts beat in sync,

With our minds too busy to think.

 

Here I am singing out loud, singing this my story,

But ready to listen, to hear what yours would be

As I hope that one day you will come to find in me,

This is lovely and so heartfelt, like a love letter. I really loved how you signed it off at the end. There is such innocent longing in this yet I feel a huge space between you, as if the person might not even be aware that you're in the same room, or maybe you work together but haven't officially met yet, for example. Nice rhythm too :) Laura
