Saying I love you...

Saying I love you...

A Poem by Kelsie :]

Saying I love you,

Can mean so much,

But then again it can mean so little,

These three words,

You can't throw them around,

Don't say it if you don’t feel it,

You can't rush it,

Give it time,

Saying I love you,

Can mean forever be mine,

Sometimes saying these three words,

Can give you butterflies,

Or make you cry,

Saying I love you,

Can lead to a happy future,

Or lead to pain,

So please think before you say...

I LOVE YOU.

Great poem.
And I can agree with everything you said in it.
I have always felt the same,
but I never put it on paper.

Your right. Some words, dont mean as much as others. Sometimes saying " I Love You" takes more hard work, and physcial doing, (not always sex realated), but simple things as making a dinner plate, or giving your a rose or somone telling you how much they appricate you. Thats what love is.

Its hard to find when your young. But adventually it will come within time.

i think you said everything that should have been said about luv. i think it is over played. throwing it around not thinkin on what they said. for something that should mean the world to someone and only said if they actually ment it...it gets over used to make things better or to avod the problem haha or for some pple in there pants. very well done on this one.....one of my best ive read!!

I admire this poem, it's honest and true...

I've been told those three words, too. I returned the favor and said it back, but she eventually proved to me that she was lying. People have dual natures (which you capture particularly well here), and contrasting thoughts, and experiences that mold and change them as they go. They say one thing, and then can completely contradict themselves with other words or actions.

You're still young, and the guys who've said that to you are too immature to know what it means. I still don't know, but at least I'm aware of that, so I don't go around saying. They are speaking from their instinct, and not from their head or heart. I wish I could say it gets better as you get older, but I'm not sure that it does, at least, I've never had anything happen to reinforce that positive outlook. Anyway...

Have a nice day!
