Scream

Quinn’s POV

 

“Oh, my god, no way!”

 

Codey snatched the flats from Quinn’s dresser. “Do you seriously wear these?!” The silver sparkly flats dangled from his hands by the bow.

 

“Yeah, I do!” Quinn yanked them from his hands. “Got a problem pretty boy?! You wanna fight?!”

 

She flung herself onto him, pushing him onto the ground. They flailed at each other for a while into Quinn got a good hook onto his cheek. “Oh! I’m so sorry!” She pulled herself off of him and backed away. “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine, Quinn.”

“Really?”

“Really.”

“Truly?”

“I’m fine Quinsy. I’m fine.”

Alex cut Quinn off before she could ask again by pulling her into his arms. She inhaled his feminine smell. That was probably the best part about having gay friends. You could hug them all you want, and they wouldn’t pop one.

 

The sharp inhale of a gasp came from behind them. Quinn looked over her shoulder to see the twins. Alexis, Quinn’s best friend, and Alex, Codey’s boyfriend. Alex stormed up to Codey and threw his arms around his waist, not only overlapping Quinn’s arms, but also squishing her into a Quinn-sandwich. “My baby! What happened?!”

“Uh… me and Quinn got in a fight.”

“No, really? There’s a big bruise on your cheek.”

“Quinn!”

“Her little stick arms couldn’t do that!”

“Hey!” Quinn elbowed Alex in the stomach, which caused him to back off.

 

Quinn went over to sit on her bed with Alexis while Alex got all touchy-feely with Codey over his little bruise, kissing his cheek, holding his waist. Blah blah blah. Instead of being all couple-y and junk, Alexis and Quinn got straight to why they were there. Homework.

 

After about 5 minutes of swapping spit, Alex and Codey joined them, and the worked for a solid hour before they were interrupted. A weird noise came from Quinn’s opened window, followed by two very human screams. Quinn slowly got up and closed the window. “I wonder what that was…”

“Maybe some animals fighting out in the woods, nothing to worry ‘bout love,” Alexis replied.

“I bet it was a dinosaur!”

“Shut up Codey.” Alexis leaned over and flicked his bruised cheek.
“Hey! He’s injured!”

 

Alex jumped over and started flailing around with Alexis. Quinn sighed and made her way to the TV, no chance they were getting work done now. She popped in a movie and sat down next to Codey.
