Forgotten Existence

this was inspired by the poem "Bond and Free" by Robert Frosttt :)

Forgotten Existence

 

Time leaves footsteps in thy path

With rivers and seas that wash away-

Tiny figments in mind they'll stay

But life trots along in the aftermath

For life bares limbs of never-ending wrath

 

Days and hours and minutes, I let.

Where life has imprinted everly so

With blessed gifts it once had to bestow

And so with life and none to fret

But time bounds beasts to eternal debt

 

Time escapes the shattering doom

And conceals within the North Stars' shine

'Til sunlight wakes him to feeling divine

With sights of ashes in every room

Up past clouds to desire whom

 

He receives an Angel from our earthly ground

Yet some see life to be truly cruel

And oftentimes beholds a wretched duel

Several places where time cannot be found

To discover not the slightest sound.
