Letting Go

Letting Go

A Poem by Kelsey Desmond
"

Found this poem I had written a while back. Didn't sound too bad. Tell me what you think.

"

I remember when I still felt lonely,
When Mother died.
I remeber when I was the only,
Passionate divide,
Between two worlds,
Of the life and the death.
Between two feelings,
That have never left.
Once in a while, you start to pack,
Her old gold jewelry and child-hood knapsack.
But her quilt will stay on her bed at rest.
Almost as if she had never left.

Very nice in the wording. Love the feeling it gives. My only promblem with it is the structure, It doesnt quite flow at some parts. If you read it outloud and slightly tweak it that should be fixed. Great poem :)
