Nowadays

Nowadays

A Poem by Kelsey Desmond
"

You can dream.

"

You can love the life your living.

You can live the life you like.

All you have to do is throw in a little forgiving,

And then you might,

Just live the life you want to.

Just find a better way out.

A different answer to sadness,

A different answer to stive.

Just a little worry, and a little bit of imagination.

Take off on an adventure.

To take the differences away.

But nothing is imaginable,

Nowadays.

I wrote this while listening to the chicago theme track. im not a very big 'optimistic' writer so dont expect me to b that way.

I liked it until the last two lines. People, whether they like it or not, are optimists. Without an inherent optimism for a better day, suiside would overwhelm us as a people.

Very nice job! I like it the way it is, it flows well and the content is nice. One spelling problem: A different answer to stive. I believe it should be strife. Good job.
